Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between citing a journal article and a magazine article?
Journal articles include volume, issue, and page numbers. Magazine articles typically use full dates and may not have volume/issue numbers. The formatting templates differ in most styles.
How do I cite an online magazine article?
Follow the same format as print but add the URL (and access date if required by the style). APA, Chicago, and MLA all include the URL; Harvard and Vancouver add access dates.
